Write From The Heart
Jenna is a 25 year old Canadian living in a small suburb just outside of Toronto. She thinks it is okay. She works at a small boutique waxing salon waxing private parts and serves at a “casual fine dining” establishment at night. Here she questions her life path decisions every day while waiting on dickheads who complain when they don’t get a wine glass with a stem or who are sad they don’t serve complimentary gluten free bread.
After obtaining an Advanced Diploma of Massage Therapy. Jenna said “Not now responsibilities…” and did exactly what TLC told her not to do and went off chasing waterfalls down under in search of herself and a hot man with a accent.
She then chose to take the road very much travelled by expat twenty somethings and backpacked across Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and The Philippines. After taking many questionable means of transportation around South East Asia and a lot of pad thai she returned home and started taking overpriced aesthetic programs where she found her passion for making people look and feel beautiful. She followed her wanderlust to Europe where she got high in Amsterdam, Ate too much pasta in Italy, drank a bottle of rose in Paris and made out under the Eiffel Tower.
She now like many twenty-somethings is trying to find her purpose... Well, She is trying to find a purpose that is going to be able to support her very expensive taste in travel, food, and yoga classes. She is trying to find a balance. She is trying to find a man, She is trying to find her keys... She is a hot mess and she is here to bring you along for the ride.
So here are thoughts, feelings, jokes, and advice on how to be twenty something from a twenty something girl who has absolutely no idea what she is doing, but does know the importance of laughing, human connection, kindness and love… I’m so happy you’re here… She. She’s so happy you’re here...
